The Samsung Galaxy S23 line of phones is not expected until February, yet there has been a lot of buzz surrounding these phones – now, it is reported that these phones will come in what are being referred to as ‘signature colors’.
Speculation suggests Samsung may have delayed the announcement of the Samsung Galaxy S23 Ultra and its siblings in early February, but the mid-month reveal appears to align with another more recent rumor claiming pricing issues with the devices could have caused Samsung to stick to its typical launch timeline preceding the February 27 start of the 2023 Mobile World Congress..
SamMobile, known for its accuracy in predicting details regarding Samsung products, reports that the company’s signature colors will be used mainly in marketing and promotional materials.
The Galaxy S23, it will reportedly be available in green; the Galaxy S23 Plus in light gold/pink gold; and the Galaxy S23 Ultra in pink. Other color options will be available across all three models.
Rumors
Based in South Korea and ahead of Europe and the US in time zones, Samsung hosting a Galaxy Unpacked event on the evening of February 1 makes sense. Rumours of a later date in February for the phones’ unveiling, possibly referring to their sale, have been circulating.
The well-known tipster Ice Universe has leaked that the launch date for the Galaxy S23 is Wednesday, February 1, with February 2 being the expected date for “most of the world”.
